Are the prices at your store negotiable?
All of our items have been priced comparably with market value. Some premium brands are worth more than others, and items brand new with tags are priced a little higher. We do offer occasional sales, so be sure to follow us on our social media channels!
Can we drop off merchandise that we would like to get rid of?
If you are local to us, please send us an email at AppleHoneyKids@gmail.com to inquire about consigning with us. Please note that we do work on a referral basis for local consignment concierge at this time. Be sure to add the name of the consignor who already consigns with us when you inquire.
If you are inquiring on how to consign and you are not local to us or out of state, please check back as we will be opening up our consignment to other areas and states as we narrow down those logistics.
Do you put items on hold for customers?
We do not hold items for customers. Unfortunately, with our past knowledge and experience, a hold for customers can either be a good thing or a bad thing. Now that we are based solely online, we do not have the capability to offer that service.
Are there specific items you accept or don't accept?
Yes. As we are online only, we simply can't accept large baby gear or furniture that is opened and assembled. We will likely take any larger items that are new and in box.
We also do not accept Fisher-Price, Vtech, or Leap Frog type toys at this time. As we are a premium consignment boutique, our goal is to offer higher quality and sustainable toys like those offered by Melissa and Dog or Manhattan Toy, for example.
We also do not accept any open feeding items, teething toys, diapers, etc. These items must be brand new in package for us to sell. Lastly, we do not accept breast pumps.
Do you offer returns?
All Sales are Final. We do not take returns of any kind due to the nature of items being mostly secondhand.
Items in "Sale" categories are Final Sale with NO exceptions.
Please reach out to us within 7 days of your item(s) arrival if you have any concerns regarding your order. We will consider return exceptions on a case-by-case basis. Failure to do so may result in us being unable to refund any costs associated with the item. All approved returns will require buyer to pay return shipping.
What conditions of clothing can I expect when shopping with you?
Our clothing will fall into FOUR condition types:
-New with tags
-New, never worn
-Lightly worn / Good used condition
The first two speak for themselves, but how do we define the last two?
Excellent used condition is when the items looks and feels like it could be brand new, the child wore it less than a few times, the colors are still vibrant, and the feeling is still partly stiff.
Lightly worn will be just below Excellently Used and include Good Used Condition. The item may be soft, but it washes well. Lightly worn still won't have pilling, but it may be on the cusp after a few more washes. The colors may be just slightly fading from rich tones, like royal blues and blacks. Overall, the piece is still in great condition.
*PLEASE NOTE: All Items are secondhand, so although we try to note all minor spots / areas of concern, we may miss some from time to time.
